Information regarding the Modern Contraceptive Methods (pregnancy rokne ke tarike) to safeguard against the unwanted pregnancy.

Temporary Contraception are those which are used for delaying the first child, giving gap between two children and also for avoiding future pregnancy. There are many such temporary contraception methods available- 

1. Birth Control Pill (pregnancy rokne ki goliyan) - They are of two types - Hormone Pill (to be taken every day) and Hormone Less Pill (to be taken twice a week for the first three months and once a week there after). Both the pills are extremely safe, and it does not affect the fertility in any way. Whenever woman wants to have the baby, she can stop having these pills. 

2. Birth Control Injection - This has to be taken once in three months. 

3. IUCD - It can be inserted in the uterus of the women, and it helps in avoiding pregnancy for a long time. They are of two types - one which is effective for 5 years and another which is effective for 10 years.

4. Condoms - Can be used by men. 

Permanant Contraception - Sterilization - If the family is complete, and you do not want children in the future, so male or female sterilization can be done.
